The Alliance quest chain starting with Softening the Blow also sends the character into Thor Modan. Dragonflight Season 2 Now Live Breach Neltharions secret laboratory to thwart Scalecommander Sarkareth, whose forces seek to claim the legacy of the dracthyr. The Runic Prophecies is another quest that sends you deep into Thor Modan, and can usefully be done at the same time as this one. There are also some (many?) spots where a fall is not necessarily fatal. 'Kurun on the hill overlooking Thor Modan wants you to kill Iron Thane Argrum.'This quest takes place in the Grizzly Hills region of Northrend. If you cannot fly and don't want to wade through all the mobs (possibly "again") to get to the thane, you could climb onto any of the middle pillars and jump into the water. The Iron Thane is near the (NE) end of the trench. The Earthen should be able to deal with the survivors. The loss of the iron dwarf commander should be enough to break the remaining defenders.
